From Katherine, Reader:
"A Horse Called Freedom is a excellent book and full of mystery. I liked it so much I read it in one night. It is fantastic and heart warming. Once you get your hands on it you can't stop reading it. I would recommend this book to anyone. This is the BEST book I have ever read."
From Katelyn, Reader:
"I just LOVED this book! I couldn't put it down! I would encourage everyone to read this. It is just one of the best!"
From Kathryn, Reader:
"Truly an amazing book. I've never found a book that was quite the same level of superbness. And I've read tons of books. If you even remotely like horses, I'd recommend you read this book. You might discover you're on Angela's website every day and reading all her books, just like me."
From Tavia, Reader:
"A Horse Called Freedom is a great book. The plot is very different from most horse stories, and not at all predictable. The intriguing mystery of a phantom horse along with great characters like Jani, Penny, Keeta and many more, make a great story. If you love horses, this is definitely a must-read!"
From Stephanie, Reader:
"I ABSOLUTELY loved this book! I just finished reading it through for the 3rd time, haha. I love how Freedom comes back to live a better life, and that she was able to learn to trust and love Jani, and that Jani learned to love and trust Freedom. I really can't have a favorite part for this book, it is too hard to choose!
"
From Emma, Reader:
"This is an excellent book for many reasons. One is that it is diffferent from other horse books. Usually horse books have very predictable plots, like horse wins a show, horse gets sick and gets better, etc. But this one is different. But the main reason it's my favourite book is that it is humour, fantasy, mystery, and a horse story all in one!"
From Tessa, Reader:
"A Horse Called Freedom was totally awesome!!!! 5 stars!! I have never read a book like that before. A new fave!!!!!!"
From Ashley, Reader:
"This book is absoloutly AMAZING. I read it about 23 times already.
The way Angela expressed feeling in this book is very strong. I think
all horse lovers will love to read this book. Great book! 5 Stars.
***** A MUST read!"
From Ellen, Reader:
"I just love this book, everyone MUST read it! It's wonderful! Lovely! A
perfect combination of horse and ghost book!"
From Stephenie, Reader:
"This book is awsome! I loved the ending, even though it made me cry a
bit because I do not like saying farewell or good-bye to someone or
something I love. Or knowing someone else said farewell or good-bye.
Great book!"
From Marissa, Reader:
"Freedom!!! Freedom is such a good book! It is just like Dark Fire, only a tiny bit better just because I love horse books that have to do with anything haunted or ghosts, especially if the ghost is a horse!!! Freedom is definitely a MUST READ book!!! :)"
From CM Magazine:
"This haunting story will appeal to girls who enjoy animal stories and horse stories in particular. Dorsey uses very descriptive language, and her own love of horses comes through in her writing."

From Northword Magazine:
"While the story is packed with action, adventure and the supernatural, at its heart it is really about the power of forgiveness. Without being preachy or talking down to its readers, the story carries the message that love can overcome hate."
Entire review from Northword Magazine can be read here.
From Westerly News:
"Dorsey is adept at capturing the feelings and experiences of a pre-teen girl. Readers eight to twelve years old, or those still young at heart, should enjoy this horse fantasy."

Abandoned
Stephenie, Reader:
"Abandoned is Angela Dorsey's best book. The only horse author I know of that can pull something like this off, is Angela. The book is a real tear jerker, but is also a thrilling mystery. The book is very good!"
Anastasia Holly, Reader:
"I LOVE this book! Its filled with adventure and mystery! Suprises fill every page of this wonderful book by Angela Dorsey! I would recommend this book to anyone!"
From Sefra, Reader:
"I enjoyed this book because I enjoy books about time travel. Lauren
goes back in time to when her mother was a girl, and when she
(Lauren's mom) has a horse named Ben. I think it's a good book
because although Lauren's mom did something she shouldn't have,
Lauren forgave her in the end. If you LOVE horses like I do, as well as
books where people go back in time, and a book that is still
heartwarming, you'll like this book IMMENSELY! Happy reading!"

Dark Fire
From Amanda, Reader:
"I absolutely loved this book! It's intriguing and exciting. It is very hard to put the book down! I give it five stars!"
From Heidi, Reader:
"This book rocked! I loved how it left you on the edge of your seat every time you picked it up! I hope the rest of the books are this good!!!!"
From Emy, Reader:
"I love this book!!! It's so awesome and so interesting!
From Dora, Reader:
"First in the series of the Horse Angel, the story introduces to us
the lovely "horse angel" and the protagnist. The story has a lovely
plotline, and great characters and horses! I fell in love with
horse angel series after reading this."
From Tessa, Reader:
"Dark Fire is an awesome story! I love how Lisa and Jupiter trust one
another. It's sad when Mr. Pickering dies, but at least Lisa got
Jupie back. I don't like Jimmy because he starved the horses and
injured Lisa. He's a smart crook! I like all the horses for these
reasons:
Firefly because she's so fast,
Jupiter because he saves Lisa,
Dakota because he's so cute,
and Topper because he's really sweet. LOVE THE BOOK!!!!! "
From Marissa, Reader:
"If you love a scary book that's all about horses, then Dark Fire is a great book to read! It really makes your heart beat, body shake, and you feel like you're in the book too, which makes you feel very scared. It's such a good book I could easily read it in a day, which I did, and I absolutely loved Dark Fire!!! :)"
From Stephenie, Reader:
"I felt really bad for Mr. Pickering and I'm glad Jimmy went to jail for what he did. Great book! =D"
From Tiara, Reader:
"Dark fire is an AWESOME book! It made me want to keep reading. It has so many twists, you think you know exactly what's gonna happen but then you find yourself to be completely wrong. I suggested this book to all my friends and they loved it! Once again this book is just awesome, read it!"

Desert Song
From Stephenie, Reader:
"Desert Song was a sad and happy story. But it was also a great one!"
From Anne-Line, Reader:
"I love the book! It was the first of Angela's books that I read. I
borrowed it from my cousin and after reading it, I became a big Horse
Angel fan!
Poor Sophie. Im so happy that she got a family.
Aria is so beautiful and has the true elegance of an arabian.
Sky is like taken out of a western movie. He is so strong and
as beautiful as just a wild horse can be.
Melody is maybe mixed breed, but she is the most beautiful and nice
filly you can imagine.
Angelica is so pure and good. And her love of horses is so strong
that she can use it to help them when they need it.
I really love this book!"

Condor Mountain

Swift Current
From Amanda, Reader:
"This is my favorite book by Angela Dorsey. It's sad at the end but happy in a way. Very exciting and surprising. I recommend this book for horse lovers and mystery readers alike."
From Heather, Reader:
"Its one of those books that you can pick up any time and still feel the excitment!"
From Nicole, Reader:
"I love the book. I cry at the end every time I read it. It is so sad, but it is also so good."
From Rachel, Reader:
"A mystery that captures you from the very start!
Beautiful and sorrowful all at the same time. Swift Current is definately one
of my personal favorites."
From Emy, Reader:
"This book is wonderful! It is one of the best books I have ever read! I cried a lot at the end!"
From Stephenie, Reader:
"I'm reading it and it is GREAT!! I love it a lot. The woman
seems nice and seems like she cares about the animals deep down
inside, but I know she doesn't care about them as much as getting the ranch back.
The book is one of my favorites actually!"
From Emily, Reader:
"This was one of the best books ever!!! It was really sad the way Daydream died but it was a great book over all. I give it 4 out of 5 stars."
From Cassandra, Reader:
"Swift Current was the first horse angel book I got and also my favorite. I love the horses and how the book is a mystery."
From Maria, Reader:
"The book is very good. You will get enchanted in its pages. Since you know the horses are innocent you feel more scared when you read about the insane women who wants to hurt them and their owner. You should be warned about the book too. It is very sad at the end but I think out of all the books I have read by Angela it is by far her best work ever. Other good books by her are A Horse Called Freedom, and Abandoned. Those along with Swift Current are the best I have read by her."

Gold Fever
From Savannah, Reader:
"A book nobody can read without giving it five stars! The book has my favorite combination: mystery, horses, and more mystery! This book is king over the stars, or shall I said queen? It's a book of top class!"
From Kine, Reader:
"Gold Fever is the most exiting book I have ever read. I could not put it down before I had read the whole book. I do indeed recommend it!!"
From Stephenie, Reader:
"Gold Fever's storyline was amazing which, in my opinion, has made it one of the best Horse Angel books yet!"
From Tessa, Reader:
"Gold Fever is awesome!!! It was my first Horse Angel story, so it is
special to me. George is creepy and it's sad that Frank dies, but at
least us readers didn't get to know him. My favorite horse is Nugget;
he is so smart!"

Frantic Flight
From Genevieve, Reader:
"This was one of the best books I've ever read. Giselle was so brave
to go back for her brother and the other restavecs. I would reccomend
this book to everyone I know because it's so exciting and touching!!!
I also loved how the story kept switching between Angelica, Giselle,
and the kids' captors."
From Kelsi, Reader:
"This is my favorite book from Angela Dorsey. I love how Giselle is so brave!"

Rattlesnake Rock
From Kara, Reader:
"I love this book! It had a wonderful plot that made me think really
hard about whether or not horse slaughter is really such a crime. I did
my research in my Bible. It turns out that slaughter of ANY animal
that does not chew its cudd and have cloven hooves is strictly
prohibited. When I read that it made me very happy."

Sobekkare's Revenge
From Lisa Maria, Reader:
"I'd like to recommend this book to everyone, because it is so good. It's just so awesome how Soebekkare is, how she tells everything with her anger and all. Her character is made very good, and the story is so cool as well. That's one of your best books!"
From Gabrielle, Reader:
"This book totally freaked me out! I was cheering on Angelica and about to scream when I thought the first horse who got sick was going to die. It was so brave of the foal to stay behind!"
From Julia, Reader:
"This book was very... I don't know, just really awesome. Ms. Angela takes original characters and puts them in settings and plots that other people would never dream of! Six stars, totally. I'm just about to read A Horse Called Freedom because everybody's reviews were so great. I can hardly wait and as soon as I'm finished, I'll comment on that!"
From Tessa, Reader:
"Sobekkare's Revenge is so neat! It makes me mad Sobekkare hates
horses or shall I say "Enemies"?
But I'm glad Amala changes her. Nefret and Aswan sound sweet, too.
Poor Abdullah, he was racing around in the middle of the night for
sick Bastet. But I'd do the same if it were my horse! "
From Alyssa, Reader:
"One day our teacher said we had to write a paper on what it would be
like if a former president and an Egyptian pharaoh were to meet. We
could use the name of a real pharaoh or make one up. I decided to use
Sobekkare as my pharaoh. The book was really good. I am
in PONY and I have almost all of the Horse Angel series. Keep the
books coming!"
From Shelby, Reader:
"I LOVED this book!!!!!! It was so good I didn't want to put it down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just reading the title made me want to read it! I would SO let people know this is the best book by Angela Dorsey!!!!!!!! KEEP IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
From Sarah, Reader:
"Sobekkare's Revenge is an awsome book to read, because the story has
more than 3 different points of view. (Angelica, the main character,
and the bad guy.) This story has 4 different points of view.
(Angelica, the main character, Sobekkare and the man who found the
burial site of Sobekkare.)
Even though she's the bad guy, I feel sorry for Sobekkare because
she thought that horses were evil and that she should destroy them
because her enemies were humans riding horses. (The
horses had scared her troops long, long ago, which made her lose the
battle.)
I'm glad that the baby horse, Amala, felt the same
way as I do towards Sobekkare.
This is one of the top books written by Angela Dorsey!!!!!!!!!!"

Mystic Tide
From Stephanie, Reader
"I loved this book SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much!! It was definitely one of the best books I have ever read!! All of the Horse Angel books are the same way - they are the best horse books ever!!!"
From Stephenie, Reader
"This book is awesome and I think it was your best book ever! You really did a great job, and I'm really glad that Erin is all right."
From Rachel, Reader:
"I finished this book in one day because it was so good! I loved how
it was set in the beautiful area of the Irish Burren. It gave the
scenery the gentle touch of loving nature."
From Tessa, Reader:
"I LOVED Mystic Tide! I like how Robert isn't so bad, he just gets
bossed around by his sister a lot!"

Silver Dream
From Hannah, Reader:
"A very clever and unpredictable book with a strong, twisting plotline! It also incorporates names and horses mentioned in the other "Guardian" books, if you look carefully. All in all, this book is recommended for horse-lovers, mystery fans, and anybody who can appreciate a perfectly-written story!"
From Stephenie, Reader:
"Silver Dream is the best Horse Angel yet. From beginning to end."
From Tessa, Reader:
"Your book is so good!!!!!!!! I feel sorry for Mr. Thomas, he's got
problems and always seems so confused about things. I like how one
of the fillies is named Silver Tresses, or Tessie. My name is Tessa,
but sometimes my friends call me Tessie, so I thought that was cool!
GOOD BOOK!!!"

Fighting Chance
From Hannah, Reader:
"It was a really great book. The best book I have ever read! Chance was a fair and kind person who stood up for Hanna, befriended Angelica quickly, and forgave Lucy and Brianna for what they did. It was a story of friendship."
From Stephenie, Reader:
"Fighting Chance was a great book! I read it in a day and just couldn't put it down. I loved how Chance looked out for Hanna. It was a great story!"
