September 2008 Question:
How old were you when you rode your first horse?
Some Answers to the September 2008 Question:
Stephenie in the United States:
"I was 13 when I got up on my first real horse. Well, he wasn't mine, he belonged to the riding school. His name was Try Me, he was so gorgeous. But it was scary because he was an actual race horse."
Gabrielle in the USA:
"I was four when I rode my first horse but I don't remember that. The first time I remember was when I was six years old and there were ponies outside a grocery store. I stared at them for so long, my dad finally asked if I wanted a ride. I grinned so hard through the whole thing my face hurt afterward!"
Katelyn in the USA:
"I started officially riding (taking lessons) at the age of 5. I rode a palomino quarter horse gelding named Goldie. I rode western and did a lot of games (ball in the bucket, barrel racing), so I have been riding for about 9 or 10 years (I am 14, and I didn't ride for a year when I was looking for a stable)"
