What is your favourite horse breed?

"ICELANDICS!! They are the most beautiful horse/pony EVER!! They can eat fish, they have an extra gait, the tolt, and my favorite horse is an Icelandic! Icelandics RULE!"

"I love Quarter Horses!!! If you read the "Angelica Moments" section, you will see that my favorite horse is an Appendix Quarter Horse. These horses are very special, and have helped cowboys out for YEARS!!! They are also great english horses( I should know), Guy (my fav horse) is basically the best jumper in the barn!!"

"I think that nothing matches the Quarter horse. It's said that most cowboys will find a Quarter horse for a rodeo if they can! You can ride them in almost any discipline, but they're known as the best runners of the quarter mile."

"To me, no breed can match what I think of the Arabian. Their history goes back so far, and just imagine what it would be like to live in the sweltering deserts of Arabia, where my favorite type of horse originated. The Arabian's gaits are so smooth, especially the canter, that I'd like to see someone say otherwise! Not only this, but these special horses are beautiful, elegant, and pure. Try seeing or riding one for yourself!"

"I love Arabians, Thoroughbreds, and Mustangs the most! Arabs are so gorgous with their dished faces and streaming tails. Thoroughbreds are so elegent with their slender bodies and long legs as they pound down the track. And Mustangs are beautiful and graceful as the gallop across the wide open range...wild and free!"

"My favorite horse breed would have to be Standardbreds because my mare was one. Then for second, there is a tie for Appaloosas and Gypsy Vanner Horses."

"This is a good question. Hmm... I think my favorite horse breed is the Islandpferd (the Icelandic horse in English). They are so sweet with their thick manes and their colorful coats. Also, they are incredible tough, because they live outside the whole year and they can carry big weights although they are not very tall. But I like Thoroughbreds, Arabians and German breeds like the Hannoverian too."

"I love all horse breeds but I am very found of Gypsy Vanners. They are just so beautiful, with their colors. :D"

"My favorite horse breed is the Paint horse. There is no paint exactly alike and their soooo colorful! I especially like the quarter horse paints. The Thoroughbred paints are my second favorite kind."

"I like any kind of horse breed, but I think its a tie between the Quarter Horse, Thoroughbred, Paint, and Appaloosa. Mostly Quarter Horses I think, because the horse that I ride for lessons is a Quarter Horse."

"I like a lot of them, for different reasons. Arabians are very elegant, like fairy-tale unicorns. Thoroughbreds are so fast! Trekhners are good jumpers, so I like them too. Palominos are pretty, with their golden coats. I have a lot of favorites!"

"I luv Freisans, Trakkener, and TB/QH sooo much and they are all so pretty!"

"My favorite horse breed is the Corolla Pony. The ponies live in North Carolina. They usually live on the beach but because people are living where their homes are, you can find them in your backyard! If you live in Corolla, North Carolina. This is my favorite breed because Archie is a Corolla! :)"

"My favorite breed would have to be the Quarter Horse. They are so nice and you can ride them in english or western, or whatever you want! They are the perfect all around breed!"

"My fav breed is a Thoroughbred. They are so fast for racing but they can also be really good jumpers. I like jumping. They are strong willed so you can't have a boring ride and they have a lot of power. They are also gentle if you know what you are doing."
