July and August's Question:
What is the coolest thing about your horse?
Some Answers To July/August's Question:
Paige in the United States:
"The best thing about my horses is they are all cool. When I get their food, they are waiting for me at the gate."
Nikki in the United States:
"She's not my horse, she's the horse I ride. But her name is Shania and the coolest thing about her is that she has a foal!"
Kourtney in the United States:
"The greatest thing about my horse, Remy, is that he'll do pretty much anything you want him to! In fact, I'm writing a book about him!"
Stephenie in the United States:
"The coolest thing about my horse is that he sticks with me. He also
is an exellent jumper and racer. I love Color! I'm also writing a
book about him. He is also very sweet."
Molly in the United States:
"My horse Popeye is the funniest horse I have ever met. He always
sticks his head right in front of the camara and he looks like "the
Horse". He also has a split personality some days he's really sweet
and hyper some days he's really lazy and grumpy."
Angela in the United States:
"My horse's name is Pepper. I think she has really cool eyes because
they are light blue and whenever we go someplace with her a lot of
people think she's blind even though she isn't. Also she can tell
when she has younger or less experienced people on her or when
they're more experienced."
Christina in the United States:
"The coolest thing about my horse Shadow is how loving and patient
she is. One time she helped me get down the hill. I had sandals on and
they got wet and I was sliding out of them. She let me put some weight
on her and went slow so I would not fall."
Tori in the United States:
"My horse's name is Judy and she is a Quarter Horse/Saddlebred. She
loves to chase after little animals, but not to be mean or anything.
She just is curious. It is funny though. Say you were a cat and you go
into a field to hunt, and all of a sudden a huge animal comes trotting up
to you."
Kelsi in the United States:
"My horse Avona always seems to know when I have treats on hand. Then
she will try to stick her nose in my pocket and get them!!"
Stephanie in Canada:
"The cool thing about my horse, Shady Gal, is that I had saved her
from abuse and she was very attached to me. But three years ago I had to
put her down. :( But I know she enjoyed the last part of her life with
me. I miss her so."
Rachel in the United States:
"The coolest thing about my horse is that she understands me
perfectly. I almost feel like Angelica. You know why? Because for a
minute I thought I was communicating with my horse. She's at a riding
school, and I love her as my lesson horse. She's a chestnut beauty and her
name is Trixie!"
Kirsten in Canada:
"I have a miniature pony named Poca Dot, and he can shake hands. He follows everybody around everywhere, too."
Nicole in the United States:
"My horse, Brooke, is practically a big puppy dog. When you get off from
a tiring ride, you don't even have to grab the reins. She'll follow
you and even turn around in the cross-ties for you!!"
Melissa in the United States:
"I don't have a horse, but I ride a really sweet horse named Floyd.
Whenever I come in the barn he seems to know my presence and whinnys
to me."
Lindsey in the United States:
"My 4yr old palomino warmblood gelding, Country, will poke his nose
out of his stall to get a treat or nose scratch from me or my
friends. He's so gentle! :D"
Kara in the United States:
"The coolest thing about my horse, Pepper, is that she is such a quick
learner. It only took her a few short minutes to teach her to load
into a trailer and walk through a mud puddle. She is the best horse
in the world and God couldn't have chosen a better one for me!"
Ashley in Canada:
"I don't have a horse but every time i go riding or i see a horse, i
instantly imagine me riding it at full speed. i love the feeling of
riding a horse and i love the bond i get between me and a horse!"
Sarah in the United States:
"Me and my horse Jazz are still bonding but she is always there for
me. And she is the youngest horse I have ever had at 10 years old!"
Genny in the United States:
"I can't ride her, because she's a mini horse, but my mini has this
really awesome trick: she steps up on the mounting block like a circus
pony, and it makes her look really tall! I love her."
Kaetlen in the United States:
"She isn't my horse, but my niece's, and every time I go out to
the pasture to see them, the little pony neighs and comes up and
sticks her nose to my belly. We are so lucky to have her!"
Maya in the United States:
"I've trained Tiger to load into my trailer on his own. While my
friends have a hard time getting their horses to load, I just stand
at the entrance and say, "Load!" and he walks right in on his own.
All I have to do is tie him."
Elena in Finland:
"I don't own a horse but the one I take care of (occasionally) will
always punch me after grooming his legs."
