Those are gorgeous! The artist is excellent at painting the water! I hope I can be that good one day.
I got a new horse for my birthday! His name is Jesse, and I love him! He’s going to take me to my first show next year, and I’m going to run for Rookie of the Year. I can’t wait!

That’s so exciting, Brittany! Happy (late) birthday! Jesse is a lucky horse to have you for his girl.
I agree on the art for the covers. The artist is very talented.

Hi Angela,
Are all the covers done by Gilda Belin?
I think it would be fun to know the illustrators and translators who have worked on the series. I’m sure they have they all enjoyed it.

That’s a great idea, Barb. I’ll ask a friend of mine who is German to translate for me and put the credits on here when I have the information. Thanks!

I don’t like these covers so much, the others are better, because Angelica on this cover so small and looks the same everytime. And I think she looks very “hard” or straight ahead or something, a little bit like Barbie. On the older Covers from the Ponyclub it isn´t so.

Of the two above, I think I like the one for Gold Fever better in the Ponyclub edition, but I like the cover for Frantic Flight better for the Kosmos edition, shown here. But really, both Jennifer Bell (who did the Ponyclub covers) and Gilda Belin (the Kosmos covers) are very talented artists.

Hmm. I think when I have written a book, I’ll find all the covers to be good, or maybe it is so because that’s your work and you love the books so much. But for people who are outside, it’s sometimes a little bit difficult to see that or to understand that. I like the first covers more and another person can like the other covers better…

Happy new year to you too, Anne-Line! And to everyone else too!
Browniii, I think it’s great that we all like different things. If we all liked the same things, just think how boring life would be!

So here is the information, translated from German:
Cover Design by Studio Bea Klenk, Berlin, using a graphic by Gilda Belin.
Inside illustrations by Isabelle Gontgen.
Translated from English by Andrea Nieradzik.
Compilation: Janine Oswald.
So many talented people to work on my books – I am very lucky!
Barbi, I’m 48. Does that sound old? It doesn’t really feel that old…
